Henrik Thal Jantzen is partner in the Danish law firm Kromann Reumert. He graduated in 1983 from the University of Copenhagen and was admitted to the Danish bar in 1986 and to the Supreme Court of Denmark in 1989. He is titular member of the Comité Maritime International (CMI) and president of the Danish Maritime Association (the Danish Branch of CMI). He practises maritime and transport law, including cargo recovery aspects, defence matters on behalf of transport carriers and freight forwarders as well as hull matters such as collision, salvage, insurance aspects etc.
 
He participated in the revision of the Nordich Standard Condition on Freight Forwarding NSAB, appointed by the Danish Shippers' Council. This revised version is now in force published as NSAB 2000.  He is the editor of a book on Danish cargo insurance published in 2000 through the Danish Insurance Academy . He also lectures at seminars held by the Danish Insurance Academy on transport and cargo insurance matters, and he has been a speaker at various international insurance conferences.
