Verónica Taubas graduated from the National University of Buenos Aires,Argentina; and has practiced law since 1991 representing the interests of freight forwarders in Agentina. Her legal practice involves freight forwarding, intermodal transport, shipping and admiralty law, air law, customs and international trade and transport issues.

She is currently the legal advisor of AAACI(the Argentinian Freight Forwarders Association, the ordinary member of FIATA in Argentina), and is the Director of ALACAT (LatinAmerican Freight Forwarding and Logistics Operators Federation) web site.

She is currently working at the Intermodal Transport Commission, whose members include the industries involved in different modes of transport, warehousing and insurance interests. This group is working to reform all legislation governing to unimodal and multimodal transport in Argentine.
