NCBFAA Section 3.
Limitation of Actions.
(b) All suits against Company must be filed and properly served on Company as follows:
(i) For claims arising out of ocean transportation, within one (1) year from the date of the loss;

NSAB Section 30
Legal proceedings against the freight forwarder shall be commenced within a period of one year, otherwise the right of claim will have become lost.(not applicable in Norway)

SSV Section 32.
Subject to compulsory provisions of the law, all claims against the forwarder shall lapse after a period of one year.

Peter Jones' Commentary:

These conditions adopt the one year limitation, which is often applicable by virtue of international transport conventions governing the transport of goods by sea.

This limitation period is different from the nine-months limitation used by the FIATA Bill of Lading and the FIATA Model Rules Section 10.
